Riyadh Village

Riyadh village is a residential complex designed to accommodate expats. There was previously built units that are set to be demolished. For that reason, the project is set to be executed in phases, by slowly re-allocating the current tenants to the new units.

The primary challenge was to use fast build construction methods to finish the project in a very short time frame. The design team proposed using the Diamond Shell method which uses pre-finished hollow moulds as walls. On site, steel reinforcement and concrete would be poured inside those moulds to complete the process.
